Vintage Train Cars visit Bay City in August

Filed under: Uncategorized - Administrator @ 8:10 am

My blog is all about history cars and if you are interested on seeing this history cars, well, be prepared next month when these vintage train cars visit Bay City straight right to the West Branch this coming August. If you miss these vehicles so much, now is the right time to grab this rare opportunity to see these vintage cars lining up on Bay City. All these cars wear everything from Victorian art to vintage trains as well as classic cars’ designs. Thanks mlive.com for this news.

The display will start at 8 a.m. on Defoe Park. All the cars from 1950s-era will be displaying their bodies on the said venue. The people who are looking for a first class service will be seated on the private luxury cars on the grand Algonquin Park particularly ‘’vista dome” and ‘’mural lounge'’.

The president of Luxury Rail Car Sales Bill Harman said, ‘’The vista dome is the most important thing about this car. You actually go upstairs to the dome area and you can see 360 degrees.'’

The Canadian train will also be a part of the event. This train is one of the 18 cars for the Provincial Parks shared by the Algonquin Park. The trains from Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal will be taking tourists to the country side and to the city places as if it were still the late 1950’s and 1960’s. But it was mothballed in 1990. However, with the great interest of Harman and a group of investors towards it, they purchased the said vehicle and restored it on their Saginaw roundhouse. The partnership between Harman and the investors hope that this can be the ‘’first-class traveling resort'’. The investors also shared their investments on the 85-foot-long vehicle as well as spending it on all the fees.

They are going to more places like Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C., or in New Orleans for the Mardi Gras as well as the Rose Bowl in California. The trip will include a night’s stay at a private bedroom with all the necessary service for their personal needs like bath and food.

Harman added, ‘’The idea behind it is a high-end luxury travel experience that’s affordable for a typical person who would like to take a vacation. Of course, you could buy your own vintage train car, if you are able to spend $2 or $3 million.'’

The budget per person will be $4,000 each. So if you are into history cars, this is the best chance to get hold of it once again.
