Happy 90th Birthday BMW!

Filed under: Uncategorized - Administrator @ 4:41 am

BMW is so proud to celebrate its 90th year of wearing the name. July 21, 2007, the same date when the latest Harry Potter book was released is also the very same date when the Bavarian wheel maker is celebrating the 90 glorious years in the service of the auto industry. The German carmaker had been wearing the BMW brand tag from 1917 right up until this very day.

The BMW name was applied to every vehicle that the German auto maker had made. The short name BMW sounds like a sedan car to almost everybody but they are also reputable makers of quality small engine parts. And this also does not include the excellent brake calipers that they have made through the years.

Looking back, Karl Rapp was making V12 engines exclusively for Austro-Daimler. But he was joined by Max Friz, Cornelius Jagdmann and Camillo Castiglioni and then the Bayerische Motoren Werke was established.

We wish you a happy, happy birthday BMW. May you continue creating quality cars for us. And we hope to see you grow more and so you also discover more technologies that can enhance not just the quality of your cars but its performance as well.
