1961 Ford Thunderbird

Filed under: Uncategorized - Administrator @ 6:53 am

Time is running so fast we could hardly imagine that a year or two had gone through our very eyes unconsciously! But who could ever forget the timeless premium cars of all time?

One of these vintage cars is the 1961 Ford Thunderbird! A lot of people think that this car is one of the most gorgeous vehicles Ford has ever produced. With a style like a bullet, the ’61 to ’63 model Thunderbirds are certainly one of the most handsome-looking Ford units of all time!

With a flashy and flamboyant design, this vehicle features a distinguishing grille-work with afterburner headlights and taillights. A combination of Jet Age inspiration and aero-streamlining that acquires the styling touches from the thirties and forties are the best words suited to be the description of the Thunderbird. The convertible model definitely has the ultimate boulevard styling that captures the very hearts of everybody!

Most of us are familiar that it’s not a race car and it’s obvious in its four-seat interior. Instead of making it a race car, Ford offered it as a personal sport coupe and luxury convertible. How can we all say that this is one of the most beautiful cars ever? It’s because it is geared with the legendary V-8 390 FE Thunderbird engine! This car is absolutely powerful and I’m telling you it’s not a slump.

The Thunderbird was designed for tough high-speed driving performance in a long duration of time. The design focused more on comfort and style for the driver and passengers as well and this was the first priority of Ford, a comfortable and stylish convertible. The comfortable bucket seats convey a lavishing feel when matched with a matching wrap-steel instrument console and panel. The steel sustains the full length of the doors into the back seat. The general effect is impressive. From the interior and exterior, the design brilliancy will definitely mesmerize us to the max.

Have you ever dreamt of driving this kind of cars? If you’re going to ask me, I’ll say, a lot! It would be great if you find yourself behind the wheel of the 1961 Thunderbird convertible. I wish I could go back in time and purchase this car. And hey, guess what I’m going to do next? I’m going to drive myself all-day long with the Thunderbird! You want to come with me?
